Bendigo is a vibrant regional city with a rich history and one of Victoria’s fastest growing regional cities. Throughout the year there are many festivals and events taking place including the Blues and Roots Music festival, the Bendigo Easter Festival and several wine festivals. We have a range of excellent live venues for concerts, music and comedy. There are a range of top-quality restaurants to suit all tastes as well as our very own brewery and several wineries close by for you to explore.

Living in Bendigo combines the many of the advantages of living in a big city with the perks of living in a regional area: short commute, affordable places to live, a safe and friendly community and beautiful surrounding countryside.

The surrounding region is dotted with historic towns such as Castlemaine and Maldon. We are very close to the famous Heathcote wine region (the Heathcote Food and Wine festival is not to be missed). Mountain biking is extremely popular with trails in almost any direction within cycling distance from town. The region also has ample hiking and camping opportunities.

We are extremely well connected. Qantas flies directly from Bendigo to Sydney. We are just two hours by road or train from Melbourne and 90 minutes from Melbourne Airport.
